Navigating Your Mentorship Journey

Once you sign up as a mentor on Micromentor, you’ll have access to a self-guided platform where you can connect directly with entrepreneurs who are actively seeking advice. You choose who to respond to, how many connections to make, and when to engage.

Here’s how to make the most of your experience

Start with a Strong Profile

Share your background, strengths, and the kinds of entrepreneurs you’re most interested in supporting. A clear, welcoming profile builds trust and makes it easier for the right matches to find you.

Respond Thoughtfully

When an entrepreneur reaches out, take a few minutes to understand their business and their goals. If it’s a good fit, suggest a short call to get started.

Ask Questions First

Let the entrepreneur lead with their needs. You don’t have to have all the answers—good mentoring often starts with listening deeply and helping them clarify their own thinking.

Be Honest About Capacity

You set your own availability. Even one meaningful conversation can spark lasting impact, so don’t hesitate to say no if your time is limited.

Use Our Tools

You can schedule video meetings, share notes, and set action plans—all through the platform. Our Mentor Masterclass and other training modules are available anytime to support your growth.

Give, and Grow

Every mentoring conversation is a two-way street. You’ll learn just as much as you share—about innovation, resilience, and how entrepreneurs around the world are navigating change.

Tip:

If you’re new to online mentoring, consider starting with one connection. Many of our most committed mentors began with a single conversation and found it deeply rewarding.
